I had already made up my mind that I was going to keep going in the beauty infustry bevause I never really liked listening to negative people anyway.. I went on to complete my diploma through Covid-19 in 2020, I got a solid 2 months in class before moving to online training. this was very tough learning a practical skill through the screen, but despite all the obstacles, I was detemined to make it work. 

I recruited my first clients (my mum and sister-in-law) every week to practice lash extensions and brow services, safe to say I have come a long way from then. I lowkey get a little jump scare when I look back at those photos.. 

Fast forward to the end of 2020, I was settled back in class and the beauty industry opened back up. I startted taking clients for $20.00 full sets just to have client experience, I slowly started working my way up, gaining clients here and there. 

After another 6 months of my diploma, I wanted to go full steam ahead, with what started out as Lashed by Julia, for the next 2 years, I would have various jobs on the side. I did have a few jobs within the beauty industry, but unfortunately was not treated so great and have learnt how to not run my business, from these exact experiences. 

In 2021, my Nonno passed away and I wanted to find a someway to always be connected to my roots as I always loved my Italain heritage.

And now, I have stopped caring about what other peole are doing in the industry and started focusing on how I want my dream clients to feel when they come to Ciao Bella. My biggest passion is helping women feel good in their own skin and enhancing their natural beauty. There is nothing that makes me happier. Regardless of not having the best start to the industry, I am determined to give my clients the best treatments.
